South West Containers stock a wide range of Used & Refurbished Shipping Containers for sale at our Sydney, NSW location, at very competitive prices. You can buy used shipping containers and have them transported or delivered to a variety of locations across Australia.
There are three different grades we stock: A, B & C. Please see below for a description of each grade. In some sizes, we can offer both the General Purpose Height Containers (8'6") and High Cube Containers (9'6"). The different types and grades are subject to availability, so please reach out to our team first if you want to buy used or second-hand shipping containers.
Shipping container grades
C Grade: These containers are ex-shipping line units and have just come off lease. They are sold in an "As Is" condition and each unit may vary in condition. These units will not have any rusty patches or sections missing, the doors will be operational, door seals intact, floor intact and they will have no structural damage.
These units may have:
surface rust
dents
stained floors
patchy paint
small rust holes (not bigger than a 20 cent piece)
may not be 100% weatherproof (subject to each individual unit)
B Grade: These containers are ex. shipping line units and have just come off lease. They are sold in a "Wind & Watertight" condition and each unit may vary in condition. These units will not have any rusty patches or sections missing, the doors will be operational, door seals intact, floor intact and they will have no structural damage. These units are guaranteed weatherproof and will not leak.
These units may have;
surface rust
dents
lightly stained floors
patchy paint
A Grade: These containers are ex. shipping line units and have just come off lease. They are sold in a "Refurbished" condition and each unit may vary in condition. These units will not have any rusty patches or sections missing, the doors will be operational, door seals intact, floor intact and they will have no structural damage. These units are guaranteed weatherproof and will not leak. The exterior of the containers will have any surface rust removed (cut back) and the unit will be freshly painted. Colours available are blue, grey or green.
